What we collect

When you create an account, we store your email address, account role, saved restaurant preferences and favorites, account settings, and the records needed to sign you in securely. If you claim a restaurant, we also collect your contact name, role, restaurant website if supplied, ownership request, and uploaded evidence.

Support messages, feedback, relevant service events, and technical error information help us operate and troubleshoot the service. Please avoid putting sensitive personal information in a support message or document.

Why we use it

We use this information to provide your account, save your choices, review ownership and evidence, provide requested processing tools, handle support, prevent abuse, and measure how the service is used. Essential sign-in, service, and billing messages are separate from optional marketing communications.

Your evidence is private

Original invoices and kitchen files are private workspace material. They may be accessed by the account’s authorized workspace members, service administrators, and providers needed to store or process them. They are not published as public restaurant photos or downloadable invoices.

Uploading a document does not approve its contents or publish an input claim. Ownership and evidence review are separate. Remove bank details, personal addresses, unrelated faces, and confidential information that is not needed to support your restaurant’s inputs before uploading.

Public restaurant information

Public listings contain government-source information and, when accepted, restaurant input information with its evidence status. Public records can include business names and addresses. Those records may remain visible even if an account is deleted. Editorial stock photos illustrate the service; they are not evidence about a listed restaurant.

Service providers and payments

Hosting, database, file storage, email, and payment services process the information necessary to provide their part of the service. If you explicitly purchase Pro, checkout is handled by the payment provider. Every Input does not need or receive your full card number.

Automated document or image processing, when available, can produce mistakes. Its output is a draft for review, not an independent certification.

Restaurant ownership verification

If you choose to connect Google Business Profile, we read accessible business locations and verification status to confirm control of the exact restaurant. Google’s permission covers business management, but this integration does not edit your Google listing. Google access tokens are used temporarily during the check and are not stored. We retain the matching business location, verification result, and decision history. Automated consistency checks may process the restaurant’s business name and address. These checks do not certify food or kitchen practices.

Cookies and account security

We use essential cookies to maintain secure sign-in sessions and confirm sign-in requests. Email sign-in links are temporary. Don’t share a sign-in link with someone else. You can log out from your account or clear your browser’s cookies to end access on that browser.

Retention, access, and deletion

We retain information while it is needed to provide the service, resolve support and billing matters, meet applicable obligations, and protect against abuse. Retention can differ by record type. Deleting an account does not necessarily remove public-source restaurant records, required transaction records, or records that must be retained for an active dispute.

Use account support to request a copy, correction, or deletion of your personal information or private evidence. We may need to verify your identity and authority over the relevant workspace before acting.
